Family Sessions

Anointing of the Sick
This session explores what we say yes to, what we say Amen to, as we celebrate Anointing of the Sick; and how we are called to be like Christ as we work to serve and heal others and as we deal with our own illness and suffering.

Baptism & Confirmation
This session explores what we say Amen to as we celebrate Baptism and Confirmation; and provides an  experience of the symbols and words of the rites as well as Scripture passages to unpack the deeper meaning of these two sacraments.

Eucharist
This session explores what we say yes to, what we say Amen to, as we celebrate Eucharist and calls us to be bread broken and shared for others so that all might know life to the full in Christ.

Holy Orders
This session explores Holy Orders as the “sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry” (CCC 1536).

Marriage
This session explores what we say Amen to as we celebrate Marriage—both the couple celebrating the sacrament and the church community. Participants explore how the faithful love of marriage witnesses to God’s faithful love for all and calls each of us to be faithful witnesses of God’s love to others.

Reconciliation
This session focuses explores what we say yes to, what we say Amen to, as we celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation – the continuing work of healing and salvation. Participants will look at this sacrament as a celebration of God’s forgiveness and an opportunity for conversion as they explore the Rite.
